Boxfusion Consulting were recently engaged by Logica to provide Siebel expertise on a Public Sector engagement - here is the story:

The Customer
Logica is a business and technology service company, employing 39,000 people across 36 countries. The company delivers business consulting, systems integration and outsourcing across all industries and business functions.

Logica was delivering multiple Siebel projects for its customers, and recognised a need to bring in several Siebel experts to provide increased certainty in their delivery capability for their Vetting and Barring Scheme project. They needed resources who could integrate into their project team easily, would drive the high levels of quality expected, and would be flexible enough to provide a diverse range of services.

Our Answer
Boxfusion Consulting provided three Siebel Consultants to assist Logica, including a Siebel Technical Lead to lead the eight man development team throughout the design and development cycle, a Senior Siebel Consultant to design and deliver several critical functional components, and a Performance Consultant, to detect and fix address root causes of performance challenges.

We oversaw the Siebel design process, defined and enforced quality within the development processes, and ensured compliance with best practices. Interacting with the end-customer of the system, our consultants provided system demonstrations and provided accurate estimates for customer change requests. Taking on the design and configuration of complex areas of the system, we helped to deliver the system on time and within budget.

Finally, with the challenge of getting the system performance to a production-ready status, Boxfusion Consulting identified and addressed key performance issues to meet the end-customer’s SLAs.
