Our Company
Boxfusion Consulting is a provider of highly-specialised consultancy to support the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Business Intelligence applications at Blue Chip organisations across a range of industries. Our clients count on us to deliver high-quality services to support their business-critical systems, and we have an unequalled reputation for our expertise. Our dedication to overcoming challenges, and our unwavering focus on delivery, clearly differentiates us from competitor consultancies. We are an ambitious company and we have set challenging targets to help us to meet our vision of being the number one choice for CRM and Business Intelligence solutions.
Our reputation is based on the achievements and professionalism of our employees. We pride ourselves on identifying untapped talent and supporting individuals through our bespoke training courses to become fully fledged Business Application Consultants. Our approach is to give our people high levels of responsibility early on in their careers, allowing them to develop quickly and really take control of their future. And as the company grows, we want our people to move into the senior positions that open up.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for Business Application Consultants as part of our 2011/12 Graduate Intake, for both immediate and Summer 2012 starts. The role will see you working at blue-chip and government clients across the UK and Europe, bringing your expertise to bear on multi-million pound projects of strategic importance.
Typically working as part of a team, and often working alongside consultants from the global consultancies, you will be responsible for identifying and defining how a customer’s critical business processes can be supported through the use of Siebel CRM and Oracle Business Intelligence software. Following this analysis, you will then be responsible for configuring the software to support the customer’s business.
You are also likely to be involved in presenting solutions to customers, educating the customer’s end-users of the system and mentoring both colleagues and customer staff.
The work will be almost exclusively performed on customer sites – correspondingly you will be customer-facing and travel, possibly international, will often be involved. You will often be able to see first-hand how your work is supporting the customer’s business, and you will gain in-depth exposure to the way multiple industries operate.
You will be given a very high level of responsibility from the start of your career - being tasked with changing the way a particular company communicates with its customers, for example – and can expect that level to increase quickly. Correspondingly, if you successfully meet and exceed these challenges, you can expect rapid career progression.
About You
Boxfusion Consulting has built our reputation on our people and their passion for providing a highly skilled, knowledgeable and professional consultancy service. Our employees achieve this through dedicating themselves to their own development, constantly seeking new and better ways to provide effective and efficient solutions to our clients’ needs.
We’re not expecting you to be an IT or computer expert, although an interest and some experience in any programming language would be a real advantage. You’ll need to be able to understand high level concepts and then build a solution that meets the needs of the client you’re working with.
You’ll have a 2.1 degree or higher, though this does not need to be a computer or IT related degree – what we are looking for is evidence of logical thinking and a meticulous attention to detail. You’ll also have three A-Levels at grades A–C.
You must be a strong problem solver with the passion and determination to overcome any challenge. It’s a critical part of the job. You will also have a desire to understand how big companies operate, and to help them improve their performance.
You will want to be the best in your discipline, but you’ll also want to help others be the best they can be too. You will have an unerring focus on delivering over and above what is expected of you. You’ll innately understand that everything you do reflects on your company, your colleagues and yourself and therefore you’ll pride yourself on your professionalism.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable working in a team. You will not be afraid to take on leadership roles and you will know that the example you are setting is one that others will want to follow.
You will, above all, be a highly-conscientious person who learns quickly and achieves great results in everything they do. If this sounds like you and you want to take the first step towards an exciting consultancy career, we would love to hear from you!
What We Offer
Starting on a salary package of up to £32,000 including a £5,000 car allowance, after an initial probation period of 6 months you should be earning a package of up to £43,000. On top of this we offer matched Company Pension Contributions at up to 5% of salary, and the opportunity for future participation in an Employee Share Scheme.
Working as part of a dynamic team contributing to the growth of a fast-moving company, you can expect every day to be challenging and enjoyable in equal measures. You will gain exposure to the operations of global companies across a range of industries, and understand first-hand the importance of IT to today’s large businesses.
You will receive industry-leading training in the top CRM and Business Intelligence software packages, giving you the grounding to be the best in your profession. You can expect to have the combined expertise of everyone in the Company supporting you on every consulting assignment. You will be continuously learning.
As a small and rapidly-growing company, we provide the opportunity and support for ambitious individuals to develop faster and further than they could in larger organisations, allowing you to shape your career in almost any way you want. We will help you to continuously develop yourself.
